What do we offer?

Guided by Waldorf principles, Hearthstone Academy educates the whole child by weaving academic rigor with artistic and experiential learning, inspiring curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

We will be offering K-8 education

We plan to open in August 2027, initially serving grades K–5, with additional grades added through 8th as enrollment grows. Our long-term vision is to expand into a K–12 school.

  • Kindergarten learning is rooted in imaginative play, storytelling, nature exploration, and practical activities that nurture social development, creativity, and a love of learning.

  • First grade introduces academics through stories, movement, art, and hands-on experiences, helping children develop foundational skills in reading, writing, and math in a joyful, developmentally appropriate way.

  • Second grade blends academic skill-building with fables, legends, and nature studies, encouraging moral development, empathy, and growing independence through artistic and experiential learning.

  • Third grade focuses on practical, real-world learning—such as farming, shelter, and measurement—connecting academics to daily life and strengthening confidence, responsibility, and hands-on problem solving.

  • Fourth grade supports growing individuality through local geography, animal studies, and Norse mythology, while academic work becomes more structured and analytical through integrated artistic expression.

  • Fifth grade emphasizes balance, harmony, and beauty, exploring ancient civilizations, botany, and advanced math through rich storytelling, movement, and integrated arts.Item description

  • Sixth grade introduces logical thinking through history, sciences, and mathematics, while beginning age-appropriate exploration of technology and artificial intelligence focused on digital literacy, responsible use, and ethical foundations.

  • Seventh grade deepens critical thinking and creativity through interdisciplinary studies and guided exploration of AI tools, emphasizing ethics, bias awareness, human creativity, and the responsible role of technology in society.

  • Eighth grade integrates academic rigor with purposeful, project-based exploration of artificial intelligence, encouraging students to approach technology with moral awareness, creativity, and a deep sense of responsibility as they prepare for high school.
